Welcome to Bridging the Gaps, Rifle High School’s Summer Credit Recovery Program.

Who are we?  Bridging the Gaps is made of RHS teachers and students.  All the teachers work on a volunteer basis and the program is free to students.  We currently have four supervising teachers and room for 15 students.  We are currently accepting student application for the 2012 summer.

What do we do? Our goal is to empower students to become productive leaders in the community by providing recovery credit, leadership skills and work experience.  We hope this individual character development will result in a better RHS and City of Rifle.

When did we start? 2012 will be the first year of existence for Bridging the Gaps.  The Cottonwood Running Club, however has been active since October, 2011.

Where do we work?  Online course work will be completed at the Rifle Public Library.  All community service will occur in and around Rifle.

How can you apply? If you have failed a class during your high school experience and you are a currently a student at RHS you are eligible.  Pick up an application in either the Main or Guidance Office at Rifle High School.  Application deadline is May 11, 2012.
